Cast in Place Features
- We designed our Cast in Place AD detectable warning tiles with the lowest cost installation system on the market. Our ADA tile can easily be set into wet concrete – ensuring a clean and easy installation at a cost-effective price.
- This truncated dome product is certified to meet all ADA and state requirements.
- Armor-Tile® Cast in Place ADA detectable warning tiles utilizes integral embedment flanges as its complete anchoring system. This feature allows the wet concrete to flow through the anchoring system, locking it into place when the concrete sets. Meanwhile, smaller bleeder holes allow for any trapped air to escape, ensuring a flush installation.
- Creates a smooth transition between the truncated domes tile and the surrounding road and/or sidewalk.
- Light weight and easy to handle.
- Armor-Tile® Cast in Place detectable warning pavers can be easily cut to conform to angled and radius ramps – transforming any ramp into an ADA curb ramp.
- This product is available in 7 different sizes to meet your needs: 12”x12”, 24”x24”, 24”x36”, 24”x48”, 24”x60”, 36”x48”, and 36”x60”.
- We have 11 standard colors available with Federal Color Identification to choose from, all of which are listed below.

- Making curb ramps ADA accessible and in alignment with the safe pedestrian crossing route across the vehicle roadway.
- An entry into a vehicular route or area where no curbs or other elements separate it from the pedestrian route – such as curb ramps, wheelchair ramps, top of stairs/escalators and blended transitions.
- An unprotected drop off edge, such as a transit platform where the change in elevation is greater than 250mm or the slope is steeper than a ratio of 1:3 (33%).
